DirektNews does not accept spam in any form. Customers who send unsolicited e-mail via DirektNews are excluded from the service without delay. Reports of possible violations can be sent to abuse@light-house-traffic.com.

Commitment of DirektNews

• DirektNews sends its briefing only to recipients who have confirmed their registration.
• DirektNews has no business dealings with parties known to distribute unsolicited e-mail.
• DirektNews neither sells, rents nor exchanges personal data from its recipient lists.

Definition of spam

For DirektNews, spam is any unsolicited commercial or bulk e-mail. A message is considered spam where

• its content is identical for a large number of recipients and not addressed to anyone individually,
• no verifiable, explicit and revocable permission from the recipient exists,
• its benefit lies predominantly with the sender rather than the recipient.

Existing business relationship

An existing business relationship is assumed where the recipient has made a purchase from the sender, requested information, taken part in a survey or questionnaire, or had other contact with the sender.

Consent

Consent exists when the recipient was fully informed, before collection, about the collection and the intended use of the e-mail address and agreed to this in advance (informed consent).
